Egg Donation Process

• Register & Enrollment

  Register as an Asian Frozen Eggs program member. Once you finish your registration. You become a lifelong member of AFE program, then you authorize AFE to keep your personal information for the purpose of ensuring the egg donation process moving forward smoothly.

• Online Egg Donation Questionnaire

  Fill out the online questionnaire on our website, so our professional consulting team could have a more thorough understanding about you. It is an in-depth questionnaire because we need to learn as much about you to make certain you are a good fit for AFE program and for the recipients.

• Approval

  Our medical team will carefully review your full questionnaire. Then we will let you know if you are qualified to proceed the egg donation according to your personal information, educational background, lifestyle, personality, medical history, family history, personal statement, and so forth.

• Sign Paperwork & Egg Donation Cycle

  You will be asked to sign donor agreement, health record release form, notice of privacy practices, and some other documents to make sure that the entire process is legal. Our consulting team will contact you directly to explain the medical procedure including physical examination, initial consultation, stimulation plan, egg retrieval surgery, and legal procedure throughout egg donation process. You may ask any question you have when you are consulting with our consulting or medical team.

• Get Reimbursement

  We recognize that egg donation takes time and effort on your part, AFE program reimburses you for your participation in the egg donation process. The actual reimbursement amount is determined based on the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) guidelines, Egg Donation reimbursement is based on the wage scale and cost of living in your state. You are not responsible for any out-of-pocket expenses as an egg donor. This means that all fees and medical costs related to your egg donation are paid for by the recipients receiving your eggs or by AFE program. We will also cover any long distance travel costs. You are responsible only for transporting yourself to and from local doctor’s appointments. We will wire the compensation to the account you provide to us on your egg retrieval day.
